The international tabletop exercise @tomic 2014 took place in Maastricht from 18 to 20 February 2014. The exercise focused on enhancing radiological and nuclear security and on preventing radiological and nuclear terrorism.

The 15th National Focal Points (NFP) Round Table Meeting for South East and Eastern Europe (SEEE), within the framework of the European Union (EU) Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence (CoE) Initiative, took place on 7 July 2021. On 28 June - 01 July 2021, the Jordanian National Center for Nuclear and Radiological Security (NCNRS) with the support of UNICRI held a four-days national training entitled “Combating Illicit Trafficking and Smuggling of Radiological and Nuclear Materials and Response Mechanisms”. Мероприятие проводилось в гибридном формате: онлайн и в очной форме в городе Алматы, Республика Казахстан, с соблюдением соответствующих протоколов COVID-19. Это было первое совещание для Республики Казахстан, которая присоединилась к Инициативе ЦПО ЕС по ХБРЯ в ноябре 2020 года.
Within the framework of the European Union Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Centres of Excellence (EU CBRN CoE) Initiative, the 14th Round-Table Meeting (RTM) for Central Asia took place on 1-3 June 2021. The event was held in hybrid format: online and in person in the city of Almaty, the Republic of Kazakhstan, abiding by the COVID-19 safety protocols. It was the first RTM for the Republic of Kazakhstan, which joined the EU CBRN CoE Initiative in November 2020.
